About University of Georgia Army ROTC

The University of Georgia Army ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) curriculum is designed to train and develop future leaders. It is an elective curriculum you can take along with your required college classes. Military science classes prepare you with the tools, training, and experience that will help you succeed in any competitive environment. These elective classes cover management, leadership, ethics, tactics, law, military history, and Army society. During classes and field training, you will learn first-hand what it takes to lead others, motivate groups and how to conduct missions as an officer in the Army. Army ROTC also has unique clubs, such as Ranger Challenge and Color Guard, which further contribute to the ROTC and leadership experience.

Along with great leadership training, Army ROTC can pay for your college tuition and provide money for books and other living expenses. You will have a normal University of Georgia college student experience, but when you graduate, you will be an officer in the Army.
